Reflecting on The Women in Leadership Summit - November Series 2024

UN Women NZ sq.png

I am thrilled you were able to join us in Wellington on the 26-28 of November for the inspiring Women in Leadership Summit. It truly is a privilege to witness so many incredible women and allies gather to share what impactful leadership looks like to them.

Your participation tells me how much you care about gender equality and the empowerment of women. With this shared vision I encourage you to take the next step and join the UN Women Aotearoa NZ whānau to become part of our global community of world changers.

UN Women is the global champion for gender equality and is the UN organisation delivering programmes, policies and standards that uphold women’s human rights and ensure that every woman and girl lives up to her full potential.

Women’s empowerment for us is about contributing to projects that deliver better outcomes for women and girls – and their communities. We work hard to fundraise and advocate for investment in sustainable projects that support local women to autonomously support the empowerment priorities of their communities.

I would like to thank our incredible Advocacy Partner, the Women Leaders Institute, who will be donating 10% of event proceeds to support UN Women Aotearoa New Zealand's work, ensuring all women and girls have equal opportunities.

Many thanks again for your participation, and for all that you do to make the world a brighter place for women and girls.
